Yesterday I was wounded. 

Thankful for another day. 

I am ready for today. 

I will not fall a second time. 

 

Today I am prepared 

I am strong 

I am fearless 

I am untouchable  

 

Here they come ready to attack. 

I am their target  

They shoot their shots:  

You’re   Weak  

Vulnerable 

Foolish 

Fearful 

 

Their hits were direct, 

I couldn’t dodge. 

 

Today I was prepared 

They couldn’t penetrate, 

My bulletproof vest. 

 

I am strong 

I am fearless 

I am untouchable 

 

Took one shot at them 

Today they fell. 

Thankful for another day.
